Job markets, agentic coding, and harness engineering
Omid, Saman, Arash, and Sirwan discuss the UK and Swedish job markets, Claude Code workflows, loop and harness engineering, Hermes, and personal knowledge bases.
Omid and I started with a casual chat about the job markets in the UK and Sweden, exchanging experiences and observations.
We then moved into a hands-on agentic coding session. I shared my screen and demonstrated how I use Claude Code in my day-to-day development workflow, including the tools, plugins, skills, agents, and CLAUDE.md setup I use. We also discussed loop engineering and harness engineering, with practical examples of why guardrails become important as coding agents gain more autonomy.

Saman and later Arash joined the session, which led to more discussions around agentic development, Hermes as an agent harness, personal knowledge bases, and a few other random topics.
